DUO
 

As early as 2001, I began to wonder about the links that unite us with the “other,” this person who is not us. How do you continue to be yourself in a relationship? How do you take a little of the other and lose a little of yourself over time? Over the years, these doubles began to exchange sections of glass and copper in an attempt to strike a balance in their union. These duos are made up of two elements/containers that coexist in a precarious harmony in which matter plays with perception. The metallic knit is transparent and seems fragile, while the glass element is translucent yet seems more solid.
